Guinness Night Football came to an unforgettable conclusion in Lagos last month, as Team Bold United defeated Team Gold Harp 3-2 to cap off the remarkable Pan African extravaganza.

Inspired by guest player and Nigerian hip-hop prodigy Davido, captain Calvin Ogalo’s brace gave Team Bold control over Bebe Cool’s Team Gold Harp, which also featured Sauti Sol’s Bien.

The impressive Prince Kazeem responded with a double as Team Gold Harp looked to battle back into the contest, but Cameroon‘s Membouew Fokouen netted the decisive third as Team Bold United sealed the victory and conquered the continent.

“This is a big boost for my career and it will motivate me to push harder towards achieving greater things in football,” Man of the Match Ogalo said after the match, having received the title from Guinness ambassador Rio Ferdinand.

“I will forever be thankful to Guinness for this rare privilege.”

Guinness Night Football’s Pan African extravaganza was the conclusion of a 5-a-side programme that had emcompassed local tournaments in Uganda, Kenya, Cameroon and Nigeria.
