The former Lamontville Golden Arrows attacker continues to win accolades as a reward for his impressive displays
The 27-year-old player has won the league’s Goal of the Month for January with his strike against Polokwane City being voted for by supporters.
Mhango was sent through on goal and he curled the ball into the top corner as the Buccaneers thumped Rise and Shine 4-1 at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The PSL made the announcement on its official Twitter page on Tuesday.
“Congratulations to Orlando Pirates striker Frank Mhango, the PSL Goal of the Month winner (January 2020),” PSL tweeted.
It is his second PSL award in February having been named Player of the Month for January following his excellent displays.
The Malawi international hit the back of the net six times in five matches and he was rewarded by the league.
Mhango his teammates are set to take on Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Saturday which is the final Soweto Derby clash of the season.
