The Black Queens saw the back of their continental counterparts in their last group game at the ongoing tournament in Turkey
An Elizabeth Addo double and a Grace Asantewaa effort handed the Black Queens three points in the Group B fixture at Starlight Sports Complex in the Turkish city of Antalya.
The West Africans, who opened the tournament with a 3-0 defeat to Chile before bouncing back with a 4-0 triumph over Northern Ireland on matchday two, finished the group series second on the table, three points behind winners Chile.
Kenya occupy the third position with three points while Northern Ireland are bottom of the log after three straight defeats.
Ghana have set up a date with Romania, who similarly finished second in Group A, for a third-place play-off decider.
The top nations in both groups, Hungary and Chile, head into the final.
Based on the nations’ overall tournament table placement when results of both Group A and B are combined, the fifth and sixth-placed teams will also head into a final play-off as will the seventh and eighth-placed nations.
The ongoing championship is part of Ghana’s preparations ahead of the commencement of the 2020 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
